The Granville

We’re so glad to be able to begin indoor visitation for our residents, families, and friends. We have missed you! As you may imagine, there are quite a few stipulations that must be met in order for these visits to take place. So please read below prior to scheduling your visit.
o Coronavirus (COVID-19) is an illness caused by a virus that can spread from person to person. You can become infected by coming into close contact (about 6 feet or two arms lengths) with a person who has COVID-19.
o You may become infected from respiratory droplets when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or talks. You may also be able to get it by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it, and then touching your mouth, nose or eyes.
o Spread of coronavirus can be minimized by wearing cloth face coverings (without respirator) over your mouth and nose. Practicing social distancing by staying at least 6 feet away from others. Staying home if you are sick and washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or using an alcohol based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
o On the day of your visit, our staff member will meet you at the Check In Point in the Front Entryway, ask you some health screening questions and take your temperature. He or she will record your full name and contact information for the purposes of contact tracing.
o If the staff screener has any concerns regarding the answers you gave, your temperature is 100.4 or higher or you appear to have symptoms associated with COVID-19, your visit will be cancelled. Understand that each staff person performing screenings is just doing their job to keep our residents safe.
Obtaining a negative COVID test within 48 hours of your visit is highly encouraged but not required. We also have rapid testing capability that will be offered to you when you arrive. Again, it is not required, but is highly encouraged to ensure you will not, unknowingly, carry the virus into the facility.
o Even if you have had a negative COVID-19 test, you must still be without symptoms for 14 days prior to visiting. Additionally, you will still be required to complete the screening process upon your arrival.
Only two visitors will be allowed per visit. All visitors must wear a facemask during the entire visit, over mouth and nose. Visitors must be old enough to wear a mask.
o Visitors will be restricted to the visitation area only and not allowed to interact with any other residents or staff, nor walk anywhere else within the building.
o Visitors will not be allowed access to any other area of the building for any reason, including use of the bathroom facilities.
o No more than two visitors will be allowed at one time. Visits will be scheduled Weekdays 9am-6pm, Weekends 9am-3pm at one-hour increments. This schedule may change, please check the scheduling calendar for open days and times.
o Enjoy your visit!
